Homura

This piece goes in conjunction with Madoka, as it was a continuation of exploring this cartoony and exxagerated style. I used much of the same lineart and coloring techniques as I used for Madoka but chose a more dynamic pose to experiment with anatomy in this style. Like Madoka, Homura has a color association with purple in the original series, so I toned the entire piece a purple hue with a purple overlay set to multiply. I wanted her to look forlorn to reflect her tragic storyline so I chose a worried expression to add more emotion to the composition.
