King of the Jungle

This painting was done on commission for a friend using acrylic paint and a chromebook case. They requested a frog in a jungle, so after consulting several reference pictures, I drew out a rough sketch and mixed up several shades of cool green. Starting with a gradient from light green to dark green, I filled in foliage of several different varieties to frame the focal point, the frog, and gave him a regal gold crown as a finishing touch.
